Dead by Daylight Mobile will be shutting down over the next few months as publisher NetEase Games shifts its direction and focus regarding the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game. Current players will still be able to access Dead by Daylight Mobile on their handheld devices until mid-March 2025, after which the game will still be accessible via consoles and PC.
Dead by Daylight first launched as a PC exclusive in June 2016, though it’s been ported to multiple other platforms over its eight-and-a-half years in operation. The mobile version of Dead by Daylight became a huge hit when it launched in April 2020, being downloaded more than a million times within its first 48 hours of availability on mobile stores.
However, after nearly five years and the addition of plenty of Dead by Daylight killers and survivors, the mobile game’s run is coming to an end. The final date for players to access the mobile version of the survival horror game will be on March 20, 2025, according to a post on the Dead by Daylight Mobile official news page. Those who haven’t downloaded the game but want to try it before it’s gone, or those who have deleted it and want one last hurrah, should act quickly, as the game will be removed from the App Store and the Google Play Store on January 16, 2025.
When is Dead by Daylight Mobile Ending?

- March 20, 2025 – Service ends
While the mobile version is reaching its final days, developer Behaviour Interactive seems to have no plans to discontinue additional content in Dead by Daylight‘s PC and console versions. Mobile players who are willing to switch over to playing Dead by Daylight on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or Nintendo Switch can claim a welcome package filled with rewards.
The standard welcome gift consists of 500,000 Dead by Daylight Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards. Players can also receive additional Iridescent Shards and Auric Cells depending on how much money they have spent on in-game purchases, capping out at 5,000 Auric Cells and 108,000 Iridescent Shards at $200 or more spent, along with up to two million additional Bloodpoints based on the experience they’ve accrued. Players wanting to claim these rewards will need to log into the mobile game and their Behaviour Interactive account and select which platform they would like the reward applied to before March 20, 2025. Players already playing Dead by Daylight on mobile and another platform will still be able to claim the welcome package as thanks for their time spent.
