The Financial Inclusion Steering Committee (FISC), led by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), has launched a new website aimed at promoting financial inclusion in the Philippines.
The website was launched yesterday (October 9) at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ headquarters in Manila, and serves as a central hub for information on financial inclusion initiatives, regulations and resources.
This website presents the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (NSFI) and the latest developments of the FISC institution.
It also includes a newsroom and recommendations section where users can find stories and videos showcasing the positive impact of financial inclusion on Filipinos and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
FISC is taking a whole-of-government approach to promote financial inclusion and is working with institutions to help make financial services more accessible across the country.
Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, deputy governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, said the website will bring the Philippines closer to achieving financial inclusion and a healthier population.
The FISC website is www.financialinclusion.gov.ph.
