Qatar-based digital wallet Ooredoo Money has launched a new feature in its app to support its Filipino customers, namely direct payments to the Philippines Social Security System (SSS).
The development is aimed at enhancing the app’s functionality for Filipinos in Qatar in partnership with DT One, a B2B provider of cashless micropayments and prepaid digital value services.
With this feature, Filipino customers in Qatar can conveniently manage their SSS contributions through their mobile phones without having to use traditional banking methods.

The Ooredoo Money app is a digital wallet that provides a variety of financial services such as international money transfers to over 200 countries, managing prepaid and postpaid Ooredoo services, and topping up the Karwa smart card.
The app is said to be well-known in Qatar for its faster transaction times and competitive exchange rates, making it a popular choice for efficient financial management among local Filipino customers.
